Our Story
Matt Curley earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of his peers, professors, and alumni. His time at Booth, coupled with senior leadership roles in wealth management and a passion for improving advisors’ ability to grow their practices, led to the creation of Excelsior Advisor Network.
Recognizing a gap in the industry, Matt saw that many firms either offered rigid, outdated systems or lacked the personal support advisors needed to thrive. Neither approach fully addressed the evolving needs of modern financial advisors. Matt envisioned a new type of platform—one that would seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technology with high-touch, personalized service.
Matt Toelke, our Advisor Transition Specialist, brings over 12 years of experience to Excelsior. With his extensive work at Charles Schwab and Fidelity, Matt understands the complexities of transitioning advisors from other firms and scaling practices. His expertise ensures that advisors can move forward with confidence, knowing they have the right support.
